New Destiny

New Destiny Adventure Centre is a Christian Project situated on a farm just outside the city of Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil.  The Centre runs residential and day camps for under-privileged children and teenagers who attend Community Day Centres in the slums (favelas) or live in city Childrens Homes and Shelters for street children.

The young people take part in a wide variety of activities, such as adrenalin pumping adventure sports, cooperative team challenges in the forest, football, swimming etc. There are also times of reflection when the children are challenged to apply what they have learned to their own lives, and encouraged to be citizens who can make a positive contribution in their communities and beyond.
